Darrianne Christian
Darrianne P. Christian was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She received her B.A. in Computer Science from Depauw University and an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.
Darrianne started her career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after being recruited into the Stokes Scholar program while still a student in high school. After several years with the CIA, Darrianne spent the remainder of her career working in information technology as a program manager and consultant at various companies before leaving the workforce to care for her children exclusively. She was known as the ‘fix it guru’ and was often tasked to lead turn around operations in failed information technology implementations. As a direct report to the CEO, she was able to identify key talent and organize teams for mission critical projects that yielded significant benefit to the organization and often resulted in substantial financial savings to the bottom line.
Darrianne currently serves on the board of Newfields, formerly known as the Indianapolis Museum Art (IMA), the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), Lakeland Financial Corporation, as well as Lake City Bank. In addition, she has been the resident ‘pinch hitter’ for BCforward, a family business founded by her husband shortly after they were married. BCforward has grown from a startup with 2 employees in 1998 to a 6,500-person information technology consulting and workforce fulfillment firm with delivery capabilities throughout North America, Europe & Asia. She is also a parent volunteer at Park Tudor School where she serves on the lower school parent council.
