Earth Day is Friday April 22, 2022 but the DePauw community will be celebrating all throughout April!   For more information on DePauw-affiliated virtual and on-campus events, visit the Earth Month 2022 website.??

The first Earth Day in 1970 intended to raise awareness of pollution and to bring environmental issues into the national spotlight. Numerous pieces of national legislation grew out of this grassroots celebration, including:
