Finding Sources in the Library Discovery Search: On the Libraries home page, try searching these phrases to discover general books for background information:
- The name of your disease:
- Consider name variations of your disease (Example: Parkinson's is also called Shaking Palsy, Paralysis agitans, Hypokinetic rigid syndrome, or primary parkinsonism)
- Try keywords like: genetic disease; genetic disorder; genome; genetic mutation
- Results will offer print books (limit to Roy O. West) as well as e-books and article citations
- Look for medical textbooks:

Magazines of interest:
