On Monday, April 8, 2024, DePauw University, Greencastle Indiana will be in the path of a solar eclipse.  We will experience a complete blocking of the Sun by the Moon for more than three minutes on that afternoon. The eclipse will begin at 1:49 pm. Totality starts at 3:05 pm. The end of the eclipse will be at 4:20 pm. During totality, the sky will be as dark as it is at night. You will be able to see the distant stars plus Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Mars lying along a line with Jupiter above and to the left of the eclipsed Sun and the other three down and to the right.
