Creating email alerts for research topics

1. Do a search for the topic of interest, e.g., "spider silk"

2. Click the envelope icon in the left sidebar of the search results page.

3. Enter your DePauw email address.

4. Click Create Alert.

Creating email alerts when your work is cited

This works best if you create a public Citations profile.

Once you get to the homepage with your photo, click "Follow new citations" in the right sidebar below the search box.

Google Scholar will email you when new articles that cite your work.
