SOC 197 - Gender and Sexuality in Comics

This guide is for Kelley Hall's Fall 2022 first year seminar.

Peer Research Consultants (PRCs)

You don't need an appointment to work with the Peer Research Consultants (PRCs) - stop by at your convenience! They are available at the Library Research Spot in the Prevo Science Library (look to the right when you enter the library - you'll see them at the smaller desk), AND they're also available via chat from the library's Research Help page

Hours of Availability (after we're fully staffed a week or so after the semester begins):

  • Mondays - Thursdays from 9am to 10pm
  • Fridays  from 9am to 5pm
  • Sundays from 3pm - 10pm

Who are the PRCs?

How do I get to the chat?

Appointment with a Librarian

If you don't find all the sources you need from your meeting with the PRC, you can follow up by meeting with a librarian. To do that, follow the link below to the Research Help page, and click on the "Make an Appointment" option. You can choose a Zoom meeting or an in-person meeting. After making your appointment, you'll get an email confirmation with a Zoom link (ignore that, if you picked an in-person meeting), and it will get added to the librarian's calendar - they'll expect to see you then/there.
