NOTE: EndNote has two versions: EndNote and EndNote Basic. In May 2013, EndNote Web was changed to EndNote Basic. Some databases and websites will still refer to EndNote Web.
EndNote is a software program that stores and organizes citations, and enables you to import citations directly into a Word document. EndNote is available for both Macintosh and Windows users.
How does EndNote work?
You can enter records into an EndNote library in several ways:
There are two "versions" of EndNote available to DePauw University users: the EndNote client, (for faculty use only, download program from a CD) and also EndNote Web (go to www.myendnoteweb.com to sign up; this version is available to all DePauw users.)
