Purpose of this Guide

This policy describes the selection, acquisition and management of library resources, owned and licensed, that support the teaching and learning needs of DePauw University. This document provides a framework for faculty, students, staff and librarians to collaborate in providing optimal access to resources.

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Dean of Libraries and appointed Library Team.

The DePauw Libraries aim to provide accessible search tools for efficient discovery of items within the DePauw Libraries collections.  We collaborate with partner libraries in the state of Indiana and elsewhere in shared collection purchases as well as resource lending and borrowing programs.
