What is LexisNexis Academic?

LexisNexis Academic is a large database containing the full-text of news stories (from newspapers, trade publications, blogs and television transcripts), law decisions and law review journal articles, and company information. These all use different search engines to search distinct segments of the database.

Getting to LexisNexis Academic

From the library home page:

  1. Click on the "Databases by Subject" list
  2. Choose "News Sources" as the subject (note there are many other news source databases that can also be helpful for current and historical news)
  3. Click on the LexisNexis link
